Church Media Squad is hiring a
Remote Systems Integrator

The Position

Church Media Squad is looking for a highly motivated and analytical Systems Integrator to join our growing Systems Integration Squad. At Church Media Squad, we exist to make church media better, and our new Systems Integrator will play a critical role in helping us achieve that goal.

The Systems Integrator will work closely with the VP of Systems to create, maintain, and manage automations and systems across all wings of the company, primarily using n8n.io as our automation platform of choice, along with our core tools: Supabase (PostgreSQL), Airtable (internal tools), ClickUp (project management), and Dropbox (media asset storage). We aim to increase efficiency and productivity while maintaining our commitment to excellence in serving our clients. The Systems Integrator will collaborate with other System Integrators to solve complex issues, fix errors, and develop new automations to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Examples of tasks include data syncing between platforms, form submission handling, customized reporting, data analysis, AI integration, and more. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively when developing automations. Maintaining clear documentation of created automations and understanding existing documentation is also crucial.

All Church Media Squad employees work completely remotely. Full-time employees receive a company Mac after their first six weeks with Church Media Squad. Church Media Squad is an Apple-only environment.

The state of Utah has the lowest percentage of Christians in the country, with the Salt Lake Valley having less than 5% who consider themselves part of the Christian faith. Our Founder’s goal and hope is to be part of God's transformative movement in the Salt Lake Valley by making our base of operations here and helping church plants in the Salt Lake Valley.

Qualifications:

Proficiency with n8n.io and experience with our core tech stack (Supabase, Airtable, ClickUp, Dropbox)
Strong data skills with an analytical mindset for turning data into actionable insights
Experience with AI tools like Claude.ai, ChatGPT, and Lovable.dev for workflow optimization
Knowledge of JavaScript or SQL is valuable; React experience is also helpful
Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
Fluency in English is required
Experience working for a church is particularly valuable, as it enables better collaboration with the church staff we serve daily

Responsibilities:

The official working time for all member-facing Squad Members is +/- 2 hours of 9AM - 5 PM Central Standard Time (CST)
Collaborate with various departments to identify areas for improvement, gather requirements for new automations, and increase efficiency
Develop new solutions primarily using n8n.io, our automation platform of choice
Build forms, develop dashboards and widgets, and create data-rich reports for managers and executive-level staff
Send a meme to josh@churchmediasquad.com representing your love of systems
Fix errors on TheSquad automation platforms (primarily n8n.io, with some Airtable and other tools)
Ensure that systems and processes are streamlined and optimized to increase efficiency and productivity
Regularly be in contact with the Squad via our company Slack

Other Details:

Reports to the VP of Systems
Salary range: $60-70k
TheSquad will purchase a Mac for you 6 weeks after your start date
High-speed internet is required for this position
This is a W2 Employee salaried position
Preference to North America-based candidates
Priority consideration given to candidates with experience working in or with Christian churches
