Remote Sales Development Representative

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a crucial contributor to driving revenue growth by identifying and qualifying potential customers for solutions at ACS Technologies. The SDR generates and nurtures leads, builds relationships, and collaborates closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified opportunities. Through effective communication and strategic prospecting efforts, the SDR will contribute to achieving our revenue targets and establishing long-term partnerships with ministry partners.
What You’ll Do:
- Prospect and identify potential customers through inbound activities and targeted outbound activities, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and other creative methods. Participate/lead in the development of strategic, outbound activities.
- Develop effective, individualized value propositions for each prospective ministry partner, leveraging knowledge gained from researching potential ministry partners’ needs and challenges, as well as industry trends.
- Engage with prospects, qualify leads, and schedule product demonstrations or introductory meetings for the sales team.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads, meticulously tracking all interactions and updating the CRM system with accurate and detailed information.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and refine strategies for effective lead generation and qualification.
- Conduct thorough follow-up activities to nurture leads and ensure consistent engagement throughout the sales cycle.
- Remain current on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to provide valuable insights to the sales team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related with 1-2 years of sales experience or a High School diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of sales experience or in a related position requiring a successful record of client engagement or support or an equivalent mix of education and experience is acceptable.
- Proven experience in sales development, business development, or a similar role within the software industry.
- Strong understanding of software sales cycles and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and engage prospects effectively.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to lead generation and a hunger for achieving and exceeding targets.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-ups.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in using sales tools and technologies to streamline lead management processes.
- A results-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
