Ligonier Ministries is hiring a
Remote Project Manager, Governance

📍 Remote

As an experienced project manager who can analyze problems, make informed decisions, and build trust while collaborating, you have the knowledge and passion necessary to manage projects that meet timelines and budgets while exceeding expectations.

Your responsibilities would include managing multiple projects from Ligonier's enterprise project portfolio and assisting the ministry in achieving better process execution and more efficient use of resources.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent attention to detail, be highly organized, maintain detailed documentation, be flexible, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders. By doing so, you will ensure that the organization benefits from your expertise and achieves its goals.

As a project manager for Ligonier, you will be expected to:
  • Manage multiple cross-departmental ministry initiative projects.
  • Define, develop, and actively manage implementation schedules, business process refinements, and project budgets.
  • Coordinate resources, ensure efficient completion of project milestones, control project scope, and mitigate risks.
  • Identify and resolve project issues and risks, including tracking, escalation, and mitigation.
  • Meet with prospects and existing customers to understand and document their business processes and requirements.
  • Develop and manage Ligonier PMO project artifacts as part of the project lifecycle, including project charter, baseline schedule, change management board, risk register, status reports, and close-out documents.
  • Schedule and facilitate project team and stakeholder meetings.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have:
  • 5+ years of project management role experience.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-faceted team environment.
  • Strong technological aptitude, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the desire to deliver quality deliverables.
  • Experience managing projects with cross-functional/departmental components.
  • Ability to proactively identify what needs to be done and then take action.
  • Agreement with the Ligonier Ministries Core Statement of Faith.
  • Meet the attendance requirements of the position.
  • PMP Certification is preferred.

This position is for a non-profit Christian organization located in Sanford, FL. At this time, we are only able to hire individuals who are authorized to work in the United States.

The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 annually. Pay ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably believe we would pay for this role at the time of posting. We may ultimately offer more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, geographic location, and organizational needs.
