Remote Data Analyst

Job Summary
We’re seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our talent pool for upcoming opportunities. The ideal candidate will leverage expertise in Power BI, SQL, Excel, and Python to analyze viewership data, uncover trends, and support strategic decisions for our analytics platform. This role will play a key part in enhancing our current contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze streaming data (e.g., viewership metrics, user behavior) using Power BI to create interactive dashboards and visualizations for stakeholders. (Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, Google Analytics 4, and Rumble).
  • Develop and maintain models for tracking the performance of video and social media content.
  • Write Python scripts to clean, process, and analyze large datasets, automating workflows where possible.
  • Identify trends and insights to optimize content recommendations and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., content creators, marketing) to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all analyses and reports.

Qualifications
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of data analysis experience, preferably in media, streaming, or digital platforms.
    • Proven expertise in Power BI for building dashboards and reports.
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, complex formulas).
    • Strong skills in Python for data analysis (e.g., pandas, numpy, matplotlib) and automation.
  • Education: 
    • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • Skills:
    • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with SQL or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
